As 2018 sees Grange Hill celebrating its 40th anniversary, Kaleidoscope are organising an event to mark the occasion. Kaleidoscope are a Birmingham based organisation specialising in locating previously missing, believed lost, television footage., who also arrange regular events to screen and celebrate television of the past.
The Grange Hill event is hosted by The Centre for the History of Television Culture and Production at the Royal Holloway, University of London, and takes place on 28th April 2018.
So far, confirmed guests attending include Anna Home, original Executive Producer, Mark Baxter (Duane Orpington), Linda Slater (Susi McMahon), Lisa East (Christine Everson), Joanne Boakes (Anita Unsworth), Gwyneth Powell (Mrs McClusky), Lucinda Curtis (Mrs Reagan) and Paul McCarthy (Tommy Watson).
The event will consist of several interview panels, screenings of archive material, autograph opportunities and much more. Tickets are priced at £15 and are available here. Proceeds from the event go towards Linda Slater’s charity The Good Grief Trust.
